Daniel Lee, ex- Phoebe Philo assistant and now the designer in charge of Bottega Veneta is giving his shoes a new twist. I especially love the mesh heels. The material Bottega is best known for is intrecciato, thhat creates tightly woven strips of leather. The method was developed by them in the 1960’s. Lee has deftly expanded it’s use, as can be seen here and in the main photo.

Balenciaga is promoting itself, and kitten heels, along with some nice bright colors.
